PRESIDENT, WEST BENGAL PRADESH CONGRESS COMMITTEE

Prof. Pradip Bhattacharya, MP, President, West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee has been a most prominent political personality of West Bengal. He has been Member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly and of the Lok Sabha. He also served the Council of Ministers of Government of West Bengal. A highly educated and erudite personality, Prof, Bhattacharya has been engaged in teaching and social service over the last four decades. He has served academic and research committees of reputed institutions and made a mark for his scholarly contributions in the public domain. Prof. Bhattacharya has served the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committees in various roles ad responsibilities over the last more than two decades, as General Secretary, as Vice President and as the Working President of WBPCC. He is the President of WBINTUC and has been a Member of the All India Congress Committee for more than three decades.
